What is a Physiotherapist?

A physiotherapist is a healthcare professional specialised in diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal issues, aiding in recovery and enhancing physical performance through various therapies.

Do you treat Work Injuries?

We have clinical experience in individualised Return to Work, Stay at Work, and Back to Work ACC programs. We are also happy to work with companies on Workplace Assessments, education on injury prevention, including caring for your back, and safe manual handling techniques. We can assist in the treatment of work-related injuries and stress management and relaxation therapy.

Are you registered with the ACC?

Yes, we are registered with the ACC. We are able to initiate an ACC claim and ACC will cover a larger portion of the physio service. There will be a smaller portion for you to pay. We electronically submit claims to ACC.

What are the Symptoms of Chronic Pain?

  • Physical and mental fatigue
  • A deterioration in self-belief and self-confidence
  • Fear-avoidance from reinforced aberrant beliefs about pain
  • Poor response to multiple forms of treatment
  • Sleep deprivation, insomnia
  • Unhealthy eating habits
  • Social withdrawal

What are the Symptoms of a Concussion?

  • Persistent headaches and neck pain
  • Unusual dizziness
  • Visual abnormalities
  • General fatigue
  • Difficulty concentrating and “brain fog”
  • Unusual irritability and frustration with sudden mood swings

Do I Need a Referral?

No, you can book an appointment directly with us without a referral. However, if your treatment will be covered by insurance, please check your policy requirements.
Physios treat a wide range of conditions, including back pain, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, arthritis, and more, focusing on improving movement and alleviating discomfort.

Expect a comprehensive assessment where we discuss your medical history, evaluate your condition, and outline a personalised treatment plan.

While some discomfort may be experienced during certain treatments, physiotherapy aims to relieve pain. We strive to ensure all treatments are as comfortable as possible.
The number of sessions varies based on your condition, goals, and how you respond to treatment. This will be discussed during your initial assessment.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. Athletic wear is often a good choice.
